Mai Bhago College of Education organizes Orientation Programme every year during new session, when new futuristic B.Ed trainees enters the college premises. In orientation programme, the principal and the chairman of the college made the students aware of the different aspects of education and curriculum. Moreover, they are made aware of culture of college, discipline rules etc. The college managing committee also organizes a welcome party for new academicians every year.

The college conducts morning assembly in very enthusiastic way. Dress code is compulsory for the students and students are required to perform different activities like speech, news, thought of the day. All the students are divided into four houses named as Satlej, Beas, Ravi and Chenab. House Incharges have been assigned the responsibility to conduct morning assembly in more democratic way. i.e. all the students should suppose to come on the dice and give a speech on a topic turn by turn. The Principal and the other staff members also present their valuable views on the different occasions. Important information as well as the messages are being conveyed to the students from time to time. The morning assembly ends with patriotic way through National Anthem.

To create the sense of healthy competitions among the students, the college conducts inter house competitions in different healthy, profitable culture and academic activities like teaching aid competitions, sports meet and poetical recitation etc.

There is N.S.S. unit in the college allotted by the University. Different activities, rallies and routine work are organized along with the camp during the session for inculcating the social values among the teachers, students and society. At the end of the camp, certificates are given by the University through the concerned college.

There is Sick Cum Dispensary room in the college and a teacher has been assigned the duty to maintain and upkeep the sick room. The regular check up of student is done after regular intervals of time in order to make the students aware to maintain their health because sound mind lives in sound body. The college has arranged a MBBS doctor who visits the college premises after regular interval of time for medical check up of the B.Ed trainees.

College also organizes educationary  tour to different historical, religious and other places of strategic importance every year. The B.Ed trainees tend to receive practical as well as theoretical knowledge through knowledgeable tours and excursion. The college also hires local guides for providing valuable knowledge to the students.

Yoga Camp is organized on yearly basis in order to provide knowledge to B.Ed students by yoga expert to keep themselves physically and mentally fit. Through yoga, students become stress free which automatically tends to improve the learning capabilities.

The college magazine “Gyan Jot” provides the platform to the students and teachers having varied talent in different fields. The magazine is published annually.

The annual function is organized at the end of the session to reward the excellent work done by students in different activities during the session. Best teacher is also awarded with a trophy for his excellent performance in teaching and training process in the annual function.

There are two sections A and B of 50 students each. Parents-Teachers meeting are being held every month taking one section at a time to update the parents about the progress of their wards.

Conferences and seminars are a regular feature of the institution to stimulate insight, creative thinking and to develop moral values and all round development of personality of the students. Extension lectures by eminent educationalists and scholars are organized to supplement classroom teaching.
